in a cage

if you found yourself in a cage in a world where you were an animal, a human animal, and there were other people outside walking by looking at you in your cage wanting you to be human, to act like a human acts, to just do whatever it is you do... if you found you were in that cage on display in a zoo, your cage labelled human being, day after day, your food left at the edge of your cage, passed through a slot big enough for your food to come in, but not big enough for you to leave your cage... would you eventually become upset, even angry with those passing by each day pointing and laughing and coaxing you to move about, to do something amusing?... would you become still more upset when you find you are being watched eating, sleeping, even going to the bathroom?... people watching, staring, laughing... would you eventually do something to show your frustration, something, perhaps, like throwing your feces at the people?...

oh, but you're not an animal in a cage... you are civilized... aren't you?

protecting assets

do you really think it is so far fetch that those who have a lot to lose and who truly believe an enemy is evil would not do anything to motivate people to rally around fighting that enemy?...

17

and then the song girl plays in my mind even as the tv commercial at volume level 6 is way louder than the show at volume level 10, alas, commercials have destroyed what could have become of this experiment in freedom, or is that capitalism... commy red, commy red, what is going on in your head - commy red, commy red, do you have any idea what you just said - oh the impact of your thinking has the whole country drinking and the greedy ones are finking on their neighbors for a dime and the virtue went to whisper when the commy took your sister in the back seat commy kissed her all over what a crime - but i will not let the ideology turn a blind eye to the horrors that i see as the battles over isms have become insanity and you're understand if you took the time, but since you don't you give away your mind... commy red, commy red, what is missing from your head, half the world is barely fed, and you leave them there for dead, what was that that was not said - are you any better than the red, oh commy red?...

matters of interpretation

speaking of biblical chapters and verses, did you ever consider 1 Corinthians 13:11 might have meant so say When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child. Now that I have become a man, I have lost the child. In other words, in accepting the concepts of being grown-up and taking responsibility, you lose the wonderfully clear perspective of innocence and simplicity that leads to truth that only children maintain...

it might suggest that everything we know is wrong and becoming a man means becoming the self-destructive suicidal ignorant fear-filled beings that any child can see we are... even accepting it as I have left the child behind seems all too accurate... but then, who wants to face that depressing thought?...
